Returns and Refunds - CDs
Should any of your "recommended recordings" purchases from www.jansmusic.co.uk prove to be defective (i.e. CD will not play, case cracked, booklet notes missing, etc) please let me know by email on email@example.com. I am happy either to refund the cost of the purchase money, supply an identical replacement disc, or issue a credit note for use in the store.
If you are unhappy with a purchase, simply because the music is not what you expected and not to your taste, I will be happy to issue a credit note, on receipt of the returned CD (in its original condition), or to replace this with another CD from the catalogue. I hope however that my customers will come to understand and identify my tastes in music, making their choices much simpler.
Returns and Refunds - sheet music
Should any of the music you have bought be sub-standard then please let me know immediately on firstname.lastname@example.org and it will be replaced immediately. If you are unhappy with your sheet music purchase I will be happy to issue a credit note, on receipt of the returned score (in its original condition).
Credit card payments
Credit card payments are received using the secure Worldpay facilities. None of the card details are relayed to www.jansmusic.co.uk. All of the details that are asked for in the purchase process are to ensure that the purchases and use of credit cards are genuine. If you suspect your card has been used fraudulently you should contact your bank immediately.
Cheques (sterling or euros) should be made payable to "London Independent Music Company". When sending a cheque through the post please ensure that all empty lines (particularly in the amount box) are crossed through with a solid line.
Please do not send cash through the post.
