Colm Carey: Organ Music from the Tower of
London
Hot on the heels of the last one, this is the 4th CD on my own label London Independent Records. This is the first commercial solo recording made on the new Letourneau organ at the Chapel of St Peter ad Vincula at the Tower of London and is designed to show off both the organ's sound and the organist's talents. Colm Carey is indeed the organist of the chapel of the Tower so it is appropriate that he is the first to get to show off what the instrument can do. He has chosen a nicely balanced programme both in terms of texture and and of period, and he has achieved a fantastic intimate sound from the organ.
